Incisive as always. The opening roast of the Australian-Anglo ethos made me chuckle and the comparison of historical to contemporary immigration paths and their consequences is illuminating
I’m curious how you position the present as a period of Spenglerian culture and not civilization. I’ve mostly heard that we are already in the civilization period, and western culture seems to have run out of energy. Would love to hear more of your thoughts on this.
